A preliminary 2.5 magnitude earthquake struck near Dublin on Saturday, according to the United States Geological Survey. The quake, which hit at 4:12 p.m., was centered 2.9 miles west of Dublin and 3.5 miles east-northeast of Fairview, the USGS said. Further information was not immediately ava ilable.
