TIVERTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Firefighters in Tiverton knocked down a fire that extended from a car to a home on Russell Drive Saturday afternoon.
The fire happened just before noon, Fire Chief William Bailey told 12 News.
Deputy Fire Chief Joshua Ferreira said the car was engulfed in flames and ex
tended to a pickup truck in the driveway before spreading to the house.
The home only had exterior damage, Bailey said, and nobody was injured.
An investigation into the fire's cause is underway.
