Son of Patriots Super Bowl champ helps Purdue win in Providence, advances to Sweet 16
Mar 22, 2025
PROVIDENCE, RI (WPRI) -- Purdue guard Myles Colvin, the son of former Patriots linebacker and two-time Super Bowl champion Rosevelt Colvin, is headed to the Sweet 16.
On Saturday, with his father proudly watching in attendance at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Myles scored eight points and
brought in six rebounds in the Boilermakers 76-62 win against McNeese State.
"It's just been cool to come back and be around the place where I grew up," said Myles, who played 24 minutes on Saturday. "It's really cool just to see (the support here). It just shows how small the world really is. So to, come back here where I grew up, like I said, for couple years and to not only just play two basketball games but to win them here -- now we get a chance to go to the Sweet 16, it's a really good situation."
As of this story, Myles and Purdue are waiting to see who they'll play. The Boilermakers will play the winner of (1) Houston and (8) Gonzaga.
