1 injured in hitandrun crash on near west side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — One person was injured in a hit-and-run crash on the near west side of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon.
A public police report indicates officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 2900 block of West 16th Street around 2:06 p.m. to investi
gate a serious bodily injury crash.
IMPD's report on the incident confirms the crash was a hit-and-run. The report lists an unnamed female as a crash suspect.
Police indicated the victim was a male. IMPD's report does not specify the ages of the suspect or victim.
