PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A beautiful but windy Saturday in the Piedmont Triad. Red Flag Warning remains in effect through 8 p.m. Saturday due to strong winds, low humidity and dry fuels. A statewide burn ban also remains in place until further notice. Skies remain sunny and clear this evening with temperatures falling into the mid-60s once the sun sets. Keep a light jacket with you if you're heading out for any evening plans. Winds will continue to be breezy this evening with gusts to 30 mph possible through 8 pm. Plenty of sunshine on Sunday with morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs reach the upper 60s and winds will be significantly lighter with a southwest wind at 5 to 10 mph.  Our next chance for rain arrives on Monday morning. Scattered showers will be possible mainly during the first part of the day with partly to mostly cloudy skies. The chance for rain is 50%. Temperatures will start in the low 50s Monday morning and highs reach the upper 60s.  Partly cloudy skies on Tuesday with morning lows in the mid-40s and highs in the upper 60s. A mix of sun and clouds again Wednesday with morning lows in the mid-40s and afternoon highs in the upper 60s.  Mostly sunny skies return Thursday with morning lows in the upper 30s and afternoon highs in the low to mid-60s.  A decent warm-up for the end of the week and into the weekend. Morning lows Friday will be in the low 40s and afternoon highs reach the low 70s. By Saturday, morning lows will be in the low 50s, and afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s.
