Man dead after shooting in Brunswick general store parking lot

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 20-year-old man was found dead Friday night following a shooting in the parking lot of Ebony General Store.
The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office released a statement on Saturday morning, detailing that they got a 911 call at 8:32 p.m. on Friday, March 21 reporting
shots fired at Ebony General Store.
Officials said that deputies and emergency medical services then responded to the scene, arriving to find two people in the store's side parking lot with "severe injuries consistent with gun shot wounds."
One victim was identified as 20-year-old Jakwon Andre Bullock, of Ebony, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's office.
The other individual has been identified as 19-year-old Dakota Macon Briskey, of Brodnax, who was med-flighted to a trauma center with potentially life-threatening injuries.
