CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) -- A walk was held in Central Falls to honor the life of four year-old Liam Dempsy. Liam was shot and killed by his own father in a murder/suicide last year. Friday, March 21 marked the one year anniversary since the child's death and since then, Liam's family, espec ially his mother Estefanie, have been advocating and raising awareness about domestic violence. 12 on 12 Digital Original: A Mother's Anguish The 2.5 mile walk and run began at Veterans Memorial Park in Central Falls and was hosted by The Wave Runners Run Crew. So far almost $2,000 has been raised for the Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center, which offers support to victims of domestic violence.
