NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — People with iPhones have been told that Apple's security measures are the safest in the world.
However, cybersecurity experts at Online Spy Shop have a warning: Your iPhone might not be as private as you have been led to believe.
New reports have highlighted security v
ulnerabilities, hidden tracking, and data breaches, and there are serious risks that iPhone users should be aware of.
The team at Online Spy Shop analyzed recent issues and has provided advice on how to stay protected.
Specialists say that many users unknowingly leave themselves vulnerable by not adjusting key settings that allow Apple and third parties to collect personal data, track locations, and even listen to conversations.
Some of the biggest concerns to security include:
Live location tracking
Microphone and camera access
AirDrop vulnerabilities
Spyware and hacking threats

Fortunately, there are things you can do to protect yourself, including making these changes to your settings:
Turn off Precise Location Tracking
Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services
Change to "While Using the App"
Limit microphone and camera access
Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone and Camera
Remove unnecessary app access
Disable AirDrop when not in use
Settings > General > AirDrop
Set to "Contacts Only" or off
Enable Lockdown mode
Settings > Privacy & Security
Regularly update software
Install latest iOS updates
"Many iPhone users assume their device is completely secure, but the reality is that vulnerabilities still exist," said a spokesperson for Online Spy Shop. "Hackers, companies, and even certain apps are constantly finding ways to collect and exploit personal data. By making a few small changes to your settings, you can significantly improve your privacy and security. It's better to be proactive than to find out too late that your information has been compromised."
