On the mound: Right-hander Antonio Senzatela owns a 1.21 ERA — the lowest in Rockies spring training history (minimum 20 innings pitched) — after limiting the Angels to two runs on five hits and a walk. Senzatela struck out six. He gave up a home r
un for the first time this spring. Lefty Jorge De La Rosa’s 1.50 ERA in 2010 was Colorado’s previous best spring ERA. Senzatela has struck out 19 and walked four. … Veteran lefty Scott Alexander pitched a scoreless inning, striking out the side. … Closer candidate Seth Halvorsen pitched a scoreless ninth and struck out two.
At the plate: Sean Bouchard, continuing to stake his claim for a roster spot, and possibly a starting job in right field, hit 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. He’s batting .364. … Shortstop Ezequiel Tovar is hitting .327 after a 2-for-3 day. … Kris Bryant went 1 for 2 and is hitting .148. … After a tough spring start, left fielder Nolan Jones has hit much better. His 1-for-3 performance included two RBIs and lifted his average to .234.
