Thousands collect bibs for Holyoke's 48th St. Patrick's road race

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - The 48th annual Holyoke St. Patrick's road race kicks off on Saturday.
Thousands of people picked up their bibs Friday on Maple Street. Those who did not can do so Saturday on race day from 9 a.m. to noon at the same location.
The kid's fun run starts at 11 a.m., follow
ed by the 10K road race at one o'clock. "I think it's going to be a great day tomorrow the excitement is here and we're ready for it," said Director Brian Donoghue.
It is not too late to register for the race either, those interested can go online, and sign up.
