Prince George Fire and EMS crews help contain diesel fuel leak in Colonial Heights

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WRIC) -- Prince George County Fire and EMS members were called to Colonial Heights on Thursday to help crews contain a diesel fuel leak from a truck.
On Thursday, March 20, members of Prince George County Fire and EMS responded to Colonial Heights as part of a Crater Regional
Hazardous Materials Team activation.
According to Prince George County Fire and EMS, firefighters with the Crater Regional Hazmat Team arrived on the scene to find a truck actively leaking diesel fuel.

Officials said crews from the Hazmat Team, alongside Colonial Heights Fire and Rescue, worked to quickly mitigate the spill and contain any environmental hazards.
