NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man was injured after being shot on East Olney Road in Norfolk Friday evening, police said. Norfolk Police were sent to 720 Church Street around 7 p.m. for a report of a gunshot victim, and when officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a non life-threatening gu nshot wound, police said, and he was taken to the hospital. A preliminary investigation determined that the shooting took place in the 600 block of East Olney Road, police said, and officers continue to investigate the shooting.
