University of Hawaii Swimmer Karol Ostrowski is headed to compete in the NCAA Division I Championships in the final week of March. The Hawaii senior qualified in the 50 Free competition. Ostrowski is the lone male swimmer from UH and the entire Big West Conference to qualify in the DI Championshi ps. The Poland native is also a former Olympian (2020) and he is using that experience and his previous NCAA Championship to prepare for this year. "I was training really hard the whole season and I always just to have fun, stick to the plan, have fun and enjoy it," said Ostrowski. The Swimmer is impressive in the pool according to his peers, as he makes it seem effortless in the pool. "He connects really well with the water and he's able to do everything you could ever ask. When he is swimming fast, it looks like he's going very smoothly and he's not fighting the water, but he loves to work with it. He's just a all around Waterman," said Hawaii Head Coach Steve Allnutt.
