EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A wanted man was arrested and is facing kidnapping and sexual assault charges, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said. On Thursday, March 20, the Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit, along with the District Attorney's Office and the Army Criminal Investigation D ivision, "successfully apprehended" Xavier Angel Rodriguez, 21, the Sheriff's Office said. Rodriguez was wanted for three counts of kidnapping and seven counts of sexual assault offenses, including aggravated sexual assault, the Sheriff's Office said. Rodriguez was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a total bond amount of $1 million. "The strong support and assistance from these partner agencies led to the suspect's arrest.
