Gabriel Arias belted a two-run home run in the eighth, part of a three-run rally in the frame by the Guardians, but the Giants responded with three of their own in the bottom of the eighth for a 5-4 win March 21.
Tyler Freeman doubled, tripled, walked and drove in a run for the Guardians. Freeman is
hitting .308 this spring.
Ben Lively was solid in the start, going six innings and yielding two runs on four hits. He walked two and struck out five.
Joey Cantillo (1-3) gave up the three eighth-inning runs to take the loss.
