TOPEKA (KSNT) - Topeka firefighters are working to douse a house fire Friday morning in the Greater Auburndale neighborhood. A 27 News reporter said the Topeka Fire Department (TFD) is at a home in the 120 block of Southwest Roosevelt Street. Firefighters appear to be at a single-story residence in the area. One person received medical treatment at the scene from first responders. Topeka business leaders look for positives despite loss of retail giants, Heartland Motorsports Park 27 News is reaching out to the City of Topeka and the TFD for more information on this fire.
