Limited edition Lobo Louie and Lucy bobbleheads released

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Ahead of the Lobos NCAA Tournament matchup with Marquette Friday, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum released officially licensed New Mexico Lobos bobbleheads. The bobbleheads feature New Mexico's mascots, Lobo Louie and Lobo Lucy.

"These bobbleheads are the perfect way for New Mexico fans, alumni, students, faculty and staff to show off their school pride," National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said in a release.

Lobo Louie was created in the 1960s and Lobo Lucy became a mascot in the 1980s, and the pair have been New Mexico icons ever since. The limited edition Lobo bobbleheads are individually numbered up to 2,025 and are expected to ship to buyers in May.
