Fire chief retiring after 49year career in Coventry

COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — Hopkins Hill Fire Department Chief Frank Brown is retiring Friday after 49 years of service in Coventry.
According to the department's website, Brown joined up in 1976 and went on to become the full-time chief in 1992.
Brown now serves on the Coventry Town Council as
a town-wide member.
