Houma man allegedly having inappropriate online conversations with teen arrested

TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A Houma man is in police custody following a Special Victim's Unit investigation by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office.
According to deputies, they were alerted on March 20, that 28-year-
old Codey Douglas Dupre had allegedly been communicating with a 15-year-old online. The conversation was reported after it allegedly became inappropriate.

During the investigation, SVU detectives identified Dupre and secured evidence of "sexual related images" he allegedly sent during the conversation.

Deputies report Dupre was found during a traffic stop and taken in for questioning, where he allegedly admitted to sending inappropriate pictures, and making plans to meet for sexual intercourse knowing the person was 15 years old.

He was arrested and booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex on charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer aided solicitation of a minor.
Dupre's bond is currently set at $75,000.
