(WGNO) — A Houma man is in police custody following a Special Victim's Unit investigation by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office. According to deputies, they were alerted on March 20, that 28-year- old Codey Douglas Dupre had allegedly been communicating with a 15-year-old online. The conversation was reported after it allegedly became inappropriate. Suspect wanted in reported Hammond area rape, kidnapping During the investigation, SVU detectives identified Dupre and secured evidence of "sexual related images" he allegedly sent during the conversation. (Courtesy/Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office) Deputies report Dupre was found during a traffic stop and taken in for questioning, where he allegedly admitted to sending inappropriate pictures, and making plans to meet for sexual intercourse knowing the person was 15 years old. Dupre's bond is currently set at $75,000.
