CHALMETTE, La. (WGNO) — Residents of a St. Bernard Parish neighborhood are being evacuated due to a gas leak in the area. In a post to Facebook, parish officials stated that there is an underground break that is bleeding into the sewer system and venting out of the manholes and street drains. " We have multiple Fire Department units and Chiefs on scene at this time," said parish officials.
