STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A man wanted in Steuben County on charges including rape and sexual misconduct with a minor was found Thursday nearly 1,000 miles away. Tyrone Curtis Jackson, 48, was a fugitive for six months before he was found in Liberty County, Florida, by U.S. Marshals and the l ocal sheriff's department. According to a release from the Steuben County Sheriff's Office, the department was working with U.S. Marshals for a month to find him. Bluffton man arrested after high-speed chase through 4 counties Jackson was wanted in connection to three separate cases: Two counts of Level 3 Felony rape; two counts of Level 4 felony sexual misconduct with a minor Misdemeanor invasion of privacy Misdemeanor domestic battery All three instances allegedly happened in August 2024 in Steuben Township.
