Baton Rouge casinos saw a strong February, posting a 5.4% increase in revenue over January, according to the latest report from the Louisiana Gaming Control Board.
Combined revenue for the Capital Region’s three casinos reached $22.6 million in February, up from $21.4 million the previous month.
Compared to February 2024, however, revenue was down slightly—less than 1%.
The Queen Baton Rouge posted the biggest month-over-month gain, with an 8.7% jump in revenue. The casino brought in $8.3 million last month, up from $7.6 million in January. That’s also a 14.8% increase from the $7.2 million it earned in February 2024.
L’Auberge Baton Rouge remained the top earner, pulling in $13.7 million in February—a 3.8% increase over January’s $13.2 million. Year-over-year, however, its revenue was down 7.6%.
The Belle of Baton Rouge saw a slight dip, earning $506,448 in February, down 2.3% from the previous month and 19.5% lower than February 2024.
The Queen was also the most visited casino in Baton Rouge last month, attracting 100,833 guests. L’Auberge followed with 88,363 visitors.
Statewide, Louisiana’s 15 riverboat casinos collectively drew nearly 1.3 million visitors in February, up from 1.1 million in January. Combined revenue hit $149.7 million—an increase of more than $11 million over January and a 4.7% bump from February 2024’s $143 million.
