New Yorkbased hamburger restaurant to open in building that housed Melt at Easton

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A New York-based hamburger chain will soon take over the building that formerly housed Melt Bar and Grilled at Easton Town Center.

eburger is a restaurant chain with 30 locations throughout New York, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut and Ohio.
The new Easton burger joint will mark Bareburger’s second location in the Buckeye State, with the first sitting at 463 N. High St. in the Short North since 2014. The franchisee of the Short North Bareburger, George Mathew, will also be the owner of the new Easton eatery.
“We are excited to expand in Columbus and especially being in Easton which is a premier destination in Columbus for shopping and dining,” Mathew said.
Bareburger serves a variety of hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salad, wings, pastrami, cheesesteaks, BLTs, fries, milkshakes and more. The restaurant offers an assortment of vegan and vegetarian menu items, including black bean and impossible burgers.
The Bareburger at Easton will feature the restaurant’s typical menu, which can be seen at the Short North location, however Mathew said he plans to add more offerings and specials. He also said the Easton storefront will feature arcade games in the waiting area.
Mathew said he is aiming to open the new Easton restaurant in July or August. Once open, its hours of operation will be Sundays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and hours will extend to 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. ...read more read less
