The Enfield Police Department posted this aerial
video of the chase from Wednesday on their Facebook page. They say the driver was heading south over the state line trying to outrun Massachusetts State Police, and Enfield officers were ready.
In the video, you can see them slowing down traffic to stop the driver, but they swerve into the breakdown lane to get around. Enfield officers were waiting on the other side, and they were able to use a tire deflation device to stop the car.
Both the driver and passenger were arrested. It's unknown at this time what led up to the chase, NBC Connecticut states.
