From the 70s early in the week to severe storms and some snowflakes, it’s been a wild week of weather around central Indiana. We're ending the workweek with more sunshine and a return to more seasonal temperatures.
However, it's a cold start with clear skies and frost that has developed in the
area. If you parked outside, you may need to scrape off your windshield. We’ll start the day with sunshine, but more cloud cover will build in during the afternoon. Breezy winds will shift out of the southwest today, sending temperatures back to more seasonal levels. Highs will climb to the mid 50s.
A few spotty showers will develop overnight, but any rain should be gone by daybreak on Saturday. Skies will brighten again as temperatures climb back into the 50s. Sunday will be the wetter day of the weekend, with off-and-on rain showers throughout the day. Some heavier showers are possible late in the afternoon before the system moves out late Sunday.
We’re in for a quieter pattern through the last full week of March. There will be rain at times, but we’re not expecting any major temperature swings through the workweek.
