PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — We've officially made it to Friday and the weather looks great heading into the weekend! We'll start this morning with temperatures in the 30s which means you'll want a jacket as you head out the door. Plenty of sunshine all day long with breezy conditions throughout the day but the strongest winds likely in the morning. Afternoon high temperatures reach the low 60s.  As high pressure continues to build and settle in for the weekend, our temperatures will increase for both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, we'll start the morning in the upper 30s. If you're heading to the PTI Run on the Runway at 9 a.m., temperatures will be in the upper 40s. Afternoon high temperatures reach the low 70s with sunny skies. It'll also be windy on Saturday with west-southwest winds at 10 to 20 mph. Gusts up to 40 mph possible.  Mostly sunny skies on Sunday with morning temperatures in the low 40s and afternoon highs reach the low 70s. It'll be a little breezy but not nearly as windy as Saturday.  Clouds return into Monday with the chance for rain as another cold front moves through the region. Scattered showers are possible to start the week with a 50% chance for rain. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 50s in the morning with highs reaching the upper 60s.  Partly cloudy skies on Tuesday with temperatures in the low 40s in the morning and highs reaching the mid-60s.
