INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Lavenia & Summers Home for Funerals will host a celebration of life honoring Mason Alexander, a former Hamilton Southeastern High School student-athlete who died in a car crash earlier this month. Mason’s family invites friends, community members, and the media t o join them on Tuesday at the Fishers Event Center to remember and celebrate his life. A visitation will occur from 9 a.m. to noon, followed immediately by the celebration of life. Lavenia & Summers provided the following statement in a news release: “Mason Alexander was known for his dedication, talent, and leadership both on and off the field. A beloved son, friend, and teammate, he made a lasting impact on those around him. He had recently joined the University of Pittsburgh football team. His family wishes to honor his memory by bringing together those who loved and supported him.” Mason’s family has chosen yellow roses to honor his school colors and enduring spirit. Floral deliveries may be made to the Fishers Event Center, with doors opening for deliveries at 6 a.m. on the day of the service.
