Louisiana teacher accused of paying students to send sexually explicit photos, videos

MANDEVILLE, La. (WGNO) — A teacher at a Mandeville-area high school has been arrested after he allegedly had students send him sexually explicit pictures, leading to him being charged with a total of over 300 counts of various sexual crimes.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Offi
ce, detectives started investigating Jarvis Harry in October of 2024 on a report of him allegedly paying students to send him pictures of their feet.

Officials say that through investigating phone records and documents from hundreds of social media accounts, as well as holding "numerous" interviews, they discovered that Harry had reportedly not only paid students for pictures of their feet but also obtained other sexually explicit videos and pictures of students.

Harry was arrested in Tangipahoa Parish on Monday, March 17, before being transferred and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:
One count of indecent behavior with juveniles.
142 counts of pornography involving juveniles.
60 counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
102 counts of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and a student.
The investigation remains ongoing.
