Community unites for children after 'apparent murdersuicide' in Dinuba

DINUBA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The community is coming together to help raise funds for a family who lost their daughter, and for the kids who lost their mother Tuesday morning after an apparent murder-suicide in Dinuba.
Amie Porras, 33 wa
s identified as one of the victims of an apparent murder-suicide that police say happened on the 300 block of Hallow Way Tuesday.
When officers arrived at the scene they said that a child told them his parents were dead. Police say Aime was found unresponsive with apparent gunshot injuries. Aime's husband Jordan Porras, was also found unresponsive at the scene but was transported to a hospital and died shortly after arrival.

In the GoFundMe that was created, it says Amie's parents are grieving the loss of their beloved daughter and now they are left to care for their two grandkids.
According to the GoFundMe, the responsibility to take care of the grandkids while they are coping with the immense pain of Amie's passing has left an emotional toll.
The GoFundMe states that the grandparents are doing everything they can to provide a safe and loving home for the children, but the costs have been overwhelming.
Amie’s legacy lives on in her children, and by helping them, you are making a profound difference in their lives.
