(KSNW) — Wichita’s Botanica ranked 9th in USA Today’s 10Best Botanical Gardens for 2025 after a public vote among 20 nominees. “We want to thank the community for supporting Botanica and voting for our beautiful year-round gardens,” said Dr. Lynette A. Zimmerman, Executive Director of Botanica. “This is a testament to the skill and hard work of our talented staff and dedicated volunteers.” How to take part in NCAA excitement in Wichita Botanica’s gardens cover over 20 acres with 30 themed areas and 4,000 plant species. Visitors can enjoy water features, sculptures, and a restored 1949 carousel. Botanica has received national recognition before, with its Illuminations holiday light display ranking in USA Today’s 10Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights for five consecutive years.
