PROVIDENCE, RI (WPRI) — On Thursday, Purdue rolled past High Point University 75-63 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Providence.
The win was extra special for Boilermakers guard Myles Colvin, as it was a homecoming of sorts. Myles is the son of former Patriots linebacker and two-tim
e Super Bowl champion Rosevelt Colvin.
"It's good to be back where I grew up. It's definitely cool, but I'm here to win a couple of games and get to the (Sweet 16)," Myles said following the game. "I try to keep my mind clear so that I can have the best mindset that I can have to play basketball (while) not letting the outside stuff bother me."

Colvin played 18 minutes and scored four points against High Point while his father watched proudly from the stands at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.
"He's a very, very good dad. He's supported me through all of this," Myles Colvin said. "He's got my back no matter what, and he's done nothing but help me to get to this moment. I'm really grateful to have him as my dad."
