NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Clear skies for the rest of the evening with breezy winds out of the NNW. Low humidity and gusty winds keep the danger of fire spreading present throughout the area. A red flag warning is in effect. Refrain from outdoor burning in these conditions. Lows tonight will drop efficiently under clear skies and calming winds. Far along the north shore, near the I-12 corridor, will see mid to lower 30s. The potential for a light front isn't exceptionally great, but there will be a select few locations that see this occur by the early morning hours. Today's highs were below average for the first day of Spring. We reached 69 this afternoon, cooler than yesterday's warmer and muggier high of 82.
