One dead, another wounded in Bayou St. John shooting

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — One person is dead and another is injured following a homicide by shooting that occurred in the Bayou St. John neighborhood of New Orleans on Thursday afternoon, March 20.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting, which occurred in the 600 block of Moss
Street, was reported around 2:41 p.m. with confirmation around 3 p.m.
Man dead, subject detained in Central City shooting
The initial investigation shows that a man and a woman were found on scene having been shot at least once. They were taken to a hospital, where the man later died. The woman was last reported to be in stable condition.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information was provided.
