APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - Appleton Downtown, Inc. held its annual meeting for the public on Thursday, highlighting things that made for a great 2024, while looking ahead to this year.
Officials provided sweet treats and coffee for attendees while a presentation gave insight into new businesses and
development projects set to begin and finish in 2025.

Marketing Director Abby Novak said they do it every year as a way to share with stakeholders and community members regarding those successes. One of the big focuses was on the library, where the meeting was held.
"We had a lot of great new investments to talk about, like this beautiful library space and upcoming projects like the Valley Transit Center," Novak said. "We're fortunate to share exciting updates like these at this annual meeting."

Novak added that substantial investments from the community and shareholders have helped make Downtown Appleton's current progress so successful.
