(The Hill) – Former President Obama has unveiled his March Madness brackets for both the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments.
The former president chose Duke University’s men’s basketball team to clinch victory for the men and picked the University of South Carolina to come out on top fo
r the women in brackets posted to the social platform X on Thursday morning. Obama’s selection of the South Carolina Gamecocks to win it all in the women’s tournament marks the second year in a row he has done so.

“I’m cutting it close, but here are my #MarchMadness picks. Who do you have winning it all?” Obama said in his X post just before the first women's games tipped off.
Obama filled out his men's Final Four with Auburn, Florida and Tennessee.
On the women’s side, Obama chose UCLA, Notre Dame and University of Southern California (USC) to make it as far as the semifinals.
Obama, well-known as a basketball fan, chose the Connecticut's Huskies to secure victory in the men’s tournament last year.
The men’s tournament is ongoing, while the women’s tournament starts Thursday at 7 p.m. EDT with a game between Columbia University and the University of Washington. ...read more read less
