(CNN)– The European Union is delaying its proposed tariffs on imports from the United States. The first phase of revenge tariffs was set to begin April 1, after the U.S. imposed a 25% tariff on steel and aluminum imports earlier this month. But on Thursday, March 20, the commission said inst ead of two phases, the tariffs will begin on April 13.
