BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First)—The Southern University women's basketball team busted former president Barack Obama's March Madness bracket predictions.
On Thursday, Obama released his bracket predictions for women's and men's NCAA Tournament contenders on social media.
In the First Four
bracket, Obama predicted that the UC San Diego Tritons would win, but the Lady Jags had other plans.
The Jaguars beat the Tritons 68-56 during the tournament on Wednesday in California. Southern University women had higher scoring percentages than San Diego, shooting 49% from the field and 60% from behind the arc. The Tritons made 34% of their shots and 35% of their three-pointers.
