San Diego Wave FC renews broadcast partnership with FOX 5/KUSI

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego Wave FC has renewed its broadcast partnership with FOX 5 and KUSI, giving fans another way to watch select matches locally.
The first match set to be aired during the 2025 National Women’s Soccer League regular season will be this Sunday’s home opener at S
napdragon Stadium against the Utah Royals. Tune in to KUSI beginning at 7 p.m. for live coverage of the game.

The 2025 season will be the Wave’s fourth in the NWSL since its founding in 2021, with 25 matches on the books — including 13 at home — between now and early November.
This year, Wave fans will see the return of some familiar faces, including captain and goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan, star forward María Sánchez and the homegrown phenom, Melanie Barcenas.
Joining them on the pitch this year are Canadian Olympic gold medalist Adriana Leon, rookie defender Trinity Armstrong, and veteran French midfielder Kenza Dali. Also new to the Wave is head coach Jonas Eidevall, who previously led Arsenal in the Women’s Super League. ...read more read less
