75yearold woman seriously injured in north Topeka crash

TOPEKA (KSNT) - A 75-year-old woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in north Topeka on Thursday.
Around noon, a two-vehicle rear-end crash at Highway 75 and Lower Silver Lake Road resulted in a 75-year-old Hoyt woman and the driver, a 74-year-old Hoyt man, being taken to a local hosp
ital for treatment of injuries. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the woman was transported with potentially serious injuries and the man was taken with suspected minor injuries.

According to the KHP, the driver of the other vehicle, an 89-year-old man from Topeka, had no injuries. The KHP reported that the 74-year-old man wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Kandrive traffic cameras along Highway 75 showed traffic backed up in the southbound lane up to Northwest 25th Street.
