YORK, SC – Students at York  Intermediate School were evacuated around 10:15 Thursday morning after a threat about an explosive device at the school. According to the school district, five students reported seeing the threat written on the wall of a boys’ restroom. Police and firefighters sear ched the building on Johnson Road off Highway 321. York Police say no suspicious devices were found. Students and staff were able to go back inside around 11am so they could finish the school day.
