Drivers in several Colorado counties are not slowing down for school or construction zones. The Colorado State Patrol issued over 1,200 citations to almost 1,220 drivers speeding in school and construction zones in 2024, according to Colorado State Patrol, and motorists in Adams, Boulder, Eagle, El Paso and Park counties are home almost half of those drivers.
