SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Springfield Thunderbirds faced off against the Hershey Bears at MassMutual Center in Springfield Wednesday night.

se Crunch last Friday and Saturday.
Fans at Wednesday night's game told 22News that they are still optimistic that the T-Birds can turn things around. "Hopefully we can turn things around, and get a W tonight," says Jean Canosa Albano of Springfield. "We love our T-Birds so much and everything that they mean for our city right here."
The T-Birds lost Wednesday night with a final of 4 to 2. The Thunderbird's next game is Friday against the Milwaukee Admirals.
