NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man is dead following a shooting that happened in the Central City area of New Orleans on Wednesday night, March 19. According to the New Orleans Police Department, notification of the shooting, which is believed to have happened in the 2100 block of 2nd Street, came in a t 8:40 p.m. The incident was confirmed as a homicide at 9:03 p.m. Two killed, teen hospitalized in Tangipahoa shooting Police say the initial investigation shows that a man was found with a gunshot wound and declared dead. Additionally, a subject was also detained on scene for questioning in the ongoing investigation. No further information was provided.
