CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have released new information in their investigation into the man seen in video allegedly beating his dog. The video made the rounds on social media, causing outrage, and people identified the man. That information led police to 20-year-old Connor Howard. He’s now charged with felony animal cruelty. The dog, a brown and white bull dog mix with blue eyes, is now in the care of Animal Control.
