FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Police said they were on the scene of a barricade incident at CIA headquarters in McLean after an armed man was seen near it on Wednesday. The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said Dolley Madison Boulevard was shut down in both directions between George town Park and Savile Lane due to the situation. In a statement sent to DC News Now, a CIA spokesperson wrote: “There is an ongoing incident that law enforcement is currently responding to outside CIA Headquarters. Additional details will be made available as appropriate.” DC News Now crews at the scene noted at least two dozen marked and unmarked police vehicles, helping to build a wide perimeter of at least a block long in both directions.
