Canopy by Hilton will join Deer Valley’s East Village hotel collection
Mar 19, 2025
Deer Valley’s East Village five- and six-star hotel collection is growing — Canopy by Hilton is set to join the already-open Grand Hyatt and the soon-to-be developed Four Seasons. This addition checks three of the eight destination hotels off the village’s expansion plan to-do list. Brought t
o the area by a collaboration with Hilton and national real estate developer Extell Development Company, Canopy by Hilton will sit ski-beachside for a ski-in, ski-out facility with 180 rooms and easy access to the Jordanelle Express Gondola. Canopy by Hilton will be the brand’s first hotel in Utah, and it’s set to open in summer 2026. While the Four Seasons Resort is still in the works, Deer Valley East Village’s Grand Hyatt opened in January. All three hotels are brought to the area by Extell Development. The Grand Hyatt is the first from the Military Installation Development Authority to offer a dedicated program for military service members in Wasatch County.Like the Grand Hyatt and Four Seasons, Canopy by Hilton promises easy access to skiable terrain as well as a “lively apres-ski experience.” On-site amenities include a pool and hot tub, steam room, sauna, fitness center and golf simulator. Plus, an apres-ski lounge, a coffee shop and a rooftop lounge. The Richardson Design Partnership architecture firm will handle to hotel’s exterior look while the DLR Group will take over interior design — both will fall in line with developments currently in the works for Deer Valley East Village. Also headed by Extell Development, the 402-unit Pioche Village Condominium complex will be located immediately next to the new Canopy by Hilton hotel. The hotel will be completed around the same time that Deer Valley plans to add 10 new chairlifts and 100 new ski runs on new skiable terrain by 2026.The post Canopy by Hilton will join Deer Valley’s East Village hotel collection appeared first on Park Record. ...read more read less
