Man wanted in New Jersey murder arrested near Goodbee

GOODBEE, La. (WGNO) — A man who was wanted in connection to a New Jersey murder was arrested near Goodbee on the afternoon of March 19.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, officials were notified on Wednes
day that the man, identified by the Mercer County Prosecutors Office as 33-year-old Bruno J. Laboysantiago, was believed to be in the Goodbee area.

Laboysantiago was wanted following a homicide that reportedly happened as the result of a road-rage incident earlier on in March.

A STPSO patrol deputy saw Laboysantiago's Jeep Wrangler heading east on Interstate 12. He then conducted a traffic stop and arrested him without incident, just before reaching the highway 1077 exit.
Laboysantiago was then booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center as a fugitive.
