CHARLOTTE, NC – Police were on the scene of a homicide investigation Wednesday afternoon at the Mallard Green apartments near UNC Charlotte. Police had crime scene tape in the parking lot of the complex on Mary Alexander Road near East Mallard Creek Church Road. Investigators have not released a ny details on the shooting, but did say they are not looking for any suspects at this time. They also said there is no threat to the public.
