Lakeland Community College invites prospective students to explore careers in health care at its Health Programs Open House. The event will be held from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on March 27 in the H-Building Atrium at 7700 Clocktower Drive in Kirtland. Attendees will receive information about a variety of pro grams covering both direct and indirect patient care, as well as medical office and billing fields, along with degree and certificate options. “Our health program graduates enjoy outstanding job placement rates within Northeast Ohio’s robust health care system,” said registered nurse Regina Prosser, who also serves as the dean of health technologies. “This open house is the ideal opportunity to explore our health programs and engage directly with faculty who can help identify a field of interest among our many offerings,” she added. “As the demand for health care workers continues to rise, Lakeland provides accessible training for these high-demand careers.” Prosser emphasized that the curriculum aligns with feedback from local health system partners to ensure graduates are equipped with the skills that employers actively seek.
