Parts of Interstate 70 and other state and federal highways are closed Wednesday as strong, damaging winds continue to gust across the Eastern Plains, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
As of 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, eastbound Interstate 70 was closed east of Denver between E-470 n
ear Watkins and Burlington, CDOT officials said. Westbound I-70 was also closed between Deer Trail and Burlington.
Burlington is about 13 miles west of the Colorado-Kansas state line.

U.S. 6 in both directions over Loveland Pass
U.S. 385 in both directions between Springfield and Lamar

Colorado 94 in both directions between Ellicott and Rush
Colorado 71 in both directions from Limon to Last Chance

Northbound Colorado 83 between Walker Road and Black Forest
Eastbound Interstate 70 was also closed at 11:15 a.m. between Exit 173 for West Vail and Exit 176 for Vail because of a crash, according to CDOT.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
